    Pride Has Great Weekend Against The SBA Bones- 6/27/16

    The Piedmont Pride baseball team entered the weekend with a 1-game lead over the SBA Bones in the Southern Collegiate Baseball League standings. The Pride record stood at 13-4, while the Bones were nipping at their heels at 12-5. When the dust settled Saturday night, that lead had increased to 3 games.  Read More...

    Pride Extend Winning Streak To Nine Games- 7/11/16

    The Piedmont Pride swept a doubleheader from the Lake Norman Copperheads 9-5 and 6-1 to run their winning streak to nine games. The Pride sits atop the Southern Collegiate Baseball League standings with a 25-6 record.The Pride came from behind to win game one, scoring two runs in the top of the seventh to send the game into extra innings.     Pride Lands Eight Players On SCBL All-Star Team- 7/13/16

    The Piedmont Pride placed 8 players on the 2016 Southern Collegiate Baseball League all-star team. The team will play a round-robin series this weekend in Atlanta with the Sunbelt and Florida Collegiate Leagues. The SCBL will play the Sunbelt All-Stars at 8:00PM Saturday night, and the Florida All-Stars at noon on Sunday.  Read More...

    Pride Clinches Second Straight SCBL Regular Season Title- 7/25/16

    The Piedmont Pride summer baseball team captured its second consecutive regular season Southern Collegiate Baseball League crown by beating the Concord Weavers 10-1. The Pride, sponsored by the Piedmont Fellowship of Christian Athletes, improved to 30-7 on the season.The Weavers jumped out to a 1-0 lead by scoring an unearned run off starter Daniel Sweeney.     Pride Ready For SCBL Playoffs- 7/25/16

    You would think that a 32-8 record and second straight regular season SCBL title would be cause for celebration for the Piedmont Pride players and coaching staff. While the team is happy with that accomplishment, they have a greater goal in mind-winning the SCBL playoffs and overall championship.     Pride Advances To SCBL Championship Series- 7/29/16

    The Piedmont Pride has advanced to the Southern Collegiate Baseball league Championship Series, courtesy of a hard fought 2-1 win over Team Charlotte Thursday night at the Winthrop Ballpark. The win clinched the best of three series, after the pride won game one 18-1 and Charlotte won game two 5-3. The top-seeded Pride will now play the second-seeded SBA Bones a best of three series for the SCBL Championship.  Read More...

    New Era Starting For Pride Baseball As It Expands Ministry- 11/2/16
