    The Piedmont Pride had to wait an hour and a half to take on the Carolina Vipers due to lightning in the area, but when the teams got down to it, The Pride defeated the Vipers 7-2.     The Piedmont Pride took on the Lenoir Oilers in part of a doubleheader on Tuesday evening, and dropped both games, 3-2 and 9-8.     Pride and Vipers Game Halted Due to Storms

    The Piedmont Pride and the Carolina Vipers were set to square off on Monday, June 11th, with both teams coming in at a perfect 6-0 on the season. The start of the game was delayed a half hour due to lightning in the area.     After getting their first two game postponed due to violent storms and heavy rain in the area, The Piedmont Pride finally got to start their season on Saturday night defeating the Charlotte Galaxy 7-3 at Garinger High School.
